The tendency to buy more advance is maintained. Sales of 1T14 are nearly 7 months in advance

On March 19, 2014 Hosteltur published study by Gfk which under ITB question arose : What Tourists book holidays before ? .
From the data studied, the report emphasized that the German , English and Dutch were the most farsighted .

Given this fact , since study7 we wanted to delve deeper into how this actually affects the Canary Islands, where these markets account for 60 % of our visitors .
If we advance the average sales occurring in each month , we see a clear upward trend. Our visitors plan their holidays more than in previous years .

As early as 2013 had detected that the average increase in advance , having gained respect to 2,012 in 45 days.

That also was a trend that was in all quarters , but it is clear that it was in the second half of 2013 which starts this fact.

And that trend continued as evidence in time to observe the data from the first quarter of 2014 , compared to the averages for the first quarters of previous years.
